Sharks Release Six More Players From Training Camp

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced that six players have been released from the training camp roster as the Sharks prepare for the teams' fourth season of hockey in Worcester.

The group consists of forwards Carter Lee, Devon LeBlanc, Steve McClellan, Sean O'Connor, and Evgeni Saidachev along with goaltender Adam Russo.

The Sharks training camp roster is now comprised of 26 players; three goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 15 forwards.

The team will round out the preseason schedule at International Skating Center in Simsbury, CT with another battle against the Wolf Pack on Sun., Sept. 27, at 3 p.m.

Worcester's training camp in preparation for the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Adirondack against the Phantoms will conclude on Sept. 30.

Entering their fourth season in Worcester, the Sharks look forward to another exciting season highlighted by the improvements of the ice surface at the DCU Center and the reduction of season ticket prices! Sharks fans may secure their 2009-10 season tickets by placing a $50 deposit per seat. Some of the exclusive benefits for full season ticket holders will include:
