
Sharks Rained Out...Again

Wilmington, NC; July 8, 2011 - The Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plain League (CPL) have announced that the Sharks doubleheader in Florence tonight has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The Sharks and RedWolves will now play two different doubleheaders, first on Monday, July 25 in Wilmington, and then on Friday, July 29 the two teams will play two in Florence. Both game times are now set for 6:05 starts.
The Sharks have only played twice this week, hosting Florence on Sunday night and hosting Morehead City Thursday night, but have seen three road games now postponed due to rain, including against Florence on Tuesday night which caused tonight's scheduled doubleheader.
Wilmington will attempt to get back on the field tomorrow night when they travel to Columbia. Sunday they visit Morehead City before ending the short road trip with a doubleheader in Fayetteville to make-up last Wednesday's game against the Swampdogs that was postponed.
The Sharks return home on Tuesday night as they host Fayetteville in the first of four straight home games inside the Shark Tank. Tuesday's game is a Time Warner Cable Two `fer Tuesday with two-for-one admission and hot dogs as well as $2 beverages, while it will also be Allegiant Air Pack Your Bags Night where two lucky fans will receive airline tickets.
