SF Bulls Held in Check by Utah

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Bulls (4-10-1-1) failed to score in a 3-0 loss to the Utah Grizzlies (5-7-1-1), Saturday night at the Cow Palace. Ben Meisner pitched the shutout, stopping all 20 Bulls shots.

Danick Paquette gave Utah the early 1-0 lead. Seven minutes into the period he scored on a shot from the blue line. Through 20 minutes the Bulls held the edge in shots 10-7.

In the second period the Grizzlies extended their lead. With 8:07 remaining Teigan Zahn netted his first of the season, with the lone assist coming from Michael Pelech.

In the third, Utah's Kris Hogg added one more goal to make it 3-0 to secure the win.

On Tuesday, San Francisco heads to Bakersfield to take on the Condors. The game starts at 7:00 pm.
