
Seven Draft-Eligible Sea Dogs Players Ranked by NHL Central Scouting

SAINT JOHN, NB --- The National Hockey League's Central Scouting Department released its preliminary rankings for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft today, with seven members of the Saint John Sea Dogs appearing on the list of the top 25 QMJHL skaters. Forwards Jonathan Huberdeau (#2), Tomas Jurco (#6), Scott Oke (#9), Ryan Tesink (#10) and Zack Phillips (#11) all appeared on the list, as did defensemen Nathan Beaulieu (#3) and Guillaume Cloutier (#18).
Sea Dogs players who have previously been drafted into the NHL include superstar blue-liner Simon Després (Pittsburgh Penguins, 2009), veteran forward Steven Anthony (Vancouver Canucks, 2009), import winger Stanislav Galiev (Washington Capitals, 2010), and talented two-way centre Stephen MacAulay (St. Louis Blues, 2010).
Currently leading the QMJHL with a record of 18-3-0-2, Saint John will partake in a pair of road games this weekend versus provincial rivals Acadie-Bathurst (Saturday, 7pm) and Moncton (Sunday, 4pm). Following their November 21 tilt with the Wildcats, the Sea Dogs will return to Harbour Station for a four-game home stand.
Sea Dogs Holiday Ticket Packages (5 & 10-Game Flex) will go on sale this coming Friday, November 19 at the Harbour Station Box Office (506-657-1234). Saint John's next home game is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 26 at 7:30pm versus the Titan.
