Knoxville Ice Bears News Release

KNOXVILLE, TN - Some professional athletes never find the time to visit with fans or give back to the community in which they live and play. However, this has never been the case with the Knoxville Ice Bears hockey team. From local schools to hospitals to fundraisers, these guys have always made time to give back to Knoxville.

On Monday, January 12, the Ice Bears will once again take time out of their busy schedules to raise money for their favorite non-profit organization, East Tennessee Children's Hospital. However, it's going to be a little different this time. For one night only, your very own Knoxville Ice Bears will set aside their skates and sticks and sport aprons instead. That's right. From 5-8 p.m. at the Golden Corral on Clinton Highway, the entire Ice Bears team will be waiting on all of the restaurant's patrons.

Ask the players your burning questions. Get their autographs. Demand refills. Anything goes on this night. Just make sure that you show up with lots of friends and family for good food because a portion of the proceeds from the night will go directly to Children's Hospital.

For more information on this event, please call the Ice Bears office at (865) 525-PUCK.
