FireAntz Fines Named SEHL Goaltender of the Week

[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] – The South East Hockey League (SEHL) announced today that Kevin Fines has been named Goaltender of the Week. The native of Sarnia, Ontario strung together back to back wins this week against Winston-Salem, including a 9-0 shutout on January 3rd. In his first week with the FireAntz, Fines stopped 86 of 92 shots on goal, posted a 2.02 goals against average, and had a 93.5 save percentage.

Fines, a 6'1", 210 lbs. goaltender played from 2000/01-2002/03 with the University of Findlay (NCAA Division I). In 2002/03, Fines had a goals against average of 2.61 and a .920 save percentage. Fines appeared in three games this season with the Lubbock Cotton Kings of the Central Hockey League before coming over to the FireAntz.

The FireAntz play host to the Knoxville Ice Bears on Friday, January 9th. Game time is 7:35 pm. Great seats are still available.
