Channel Cats Named SEHL Player of the Week

Huntsville Channel Cats News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL –The South East Hockey League announced today that Huntsville Channel Cats forward, James Patterson, has been named the league’s Player of the Week.
In four games last week Patterson, from Wayne, Michigan, tallied 7 goals and 8 assists for 15 points. The former 1999-00 CHL Rookie of the Year currently leads the SEHL in scoring with 16 goals-39 assists-55 points. He also leads the league in assists with his 39. Patterson played college hockey at the University of Denver.
The Channel Cats return to the home ice on January 8 against the Winston-Salem T-Birds and again on January 10. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:05. The first 1,500 adults 18 and over will receive a free Channel Cats hat courtesy of The Orthopaedic Center and Huntsville Hospital. The Channel Cats will also be retiring the jersey of Chris George.
