Senators Take Down SeaWolves, 13-3

The Harrisburg Senators pounded out three home runs en route to a 13-3 win over the Erie SeaWolves Friday night at UPMC Park in Erie. Jackson Cluff, JT Arruda and Frankie Tostado all homered, driving in a combined ten runs in the win for the Sens. Cluff's two-run shot gave the Sens a 2-0 lead in the fourth. Arruda's two run home run made it 9-3 Harrisburg in the eighth and Tostado's grand slam capped the scored for the Senators and also came in the eighth inning.

The Big Play

The eighth inning grand slam by Frankie Tostado put the game on ice. Harrisburg had a 9-3 lead at that point, but Erie scored 12 runs yesterday and with their potent offense, the grand slam closed the door on any thoughts of a comeback.

On Capitol Hill

Michael Cuevas started for the first time in nearly a month and went 2.2 innings and allowed just one hit... Alemao Hernandez followed and earned the win going 4.1 innings and allowing three runs on ten hits... Reid Schaller finished tossing two scoreless innings.

With the Gavel

Trey Lipscomb had his second four-hit game of the series... Frankie Tostado hit a grand slam... Jackson Cluff homered, drove in two and scored three times... Israel Pineda had two hits... JT Arruda had two hits including a mammoth two-run home run over the batters' eye in center field... Jacob Young had two hits.

Filibusters

Harrisburg has taken three of the first four games of the series... The grand slam by Tostado was his third this season and the team's fifth... The time of the game was 2:46... The attendance was 4,089.

On the Docket

The Senators and Erie SeaWolves play game five of their six-game series Saturday at 6:05 p.m. The game can be heard on CBS Sports Radio Stations 96.5 FM, 95.3 FM, and 1400 AM beginning at 5:50 p.m.
