Senators Make Good on One-Game Week with Home Opener Win vs Laval

BELLEVILLE, ON -It was a light week last week for the Belleville Senators, in terms of game action, as the Home Opener presented by CAA was their only matchup. The Senators were victorious in front of more than 4,000 fans at CAA Arena.

Saturday October 21, 2023: Belleville Senators - 5 vs Laval Rocket - 4

The Belleville Senators kicked off the home portion of the 2023-24 schedule with an entertaining 5-4 victory over the Laval Rocket (Montreal Canadiens) at CAA Arena on Saturday night. Zack MacEwen scored twice, while Brennan Saulnier (one goal, one assist), Cole Reinhardt (two assists) and Zack Ostapchuk (one goal, one assist) had two points each and Mads Sogaard stopped 30 shots. Graham McPhee also scored his first of the season and first as a Senator.
