Harrisburg Senators News Release

Reading, PA -The Harrisburg Senators fell to 3-10 with a 6-2 loss on Friday night in Reading. The Senators gave up two runs in the first as they continue to struggle early in games. Matt Purke started and took the loss, his third on the season.

After Reading scored two in the first on a Cesar Hernandez home run, Destin Hood singled, stole a base and scored on an error to cut the lead in half in the second inning. Cutter Dykstra led the fourth off with his first home run tying the game for the Senators. Reading, though, responded with three in the fifth to take command.
