
Squirrels Announce Promotional Changes

Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have announce two changes to the 2014 promotional calendar. Due to the rain out on April 15th the Jackie Robinson wrist band giveaway presented by Tum-E Yummies has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 14th at 6:35 PM. Gates will open at 5:30 and the first 2,000 fans will receive wristbands. Additionally, actress Allie DeBerry, who plays Paisley Houndstooth on Disney's A.N.T. Farm, will make a celebrity appearance on Saturday, April 26th .DeBerry will replace fellow cast member and actress Lexi Reed who was scheduled to appear on Saturday but had to swap out due to scheduling with a movie shoot.
Upcoming Promotional Schedule:
Friday, April 25th -VCU Mini Basketball giveaway presented by Setliff & Holland (first 2,000 fans). The Squirrels will wear unique VCU themed jerseys to be auctioned off after the game. Proceeds will be donated to the Paul Keyes Scholarship Fund
Saturday, April 26th - Allie DeBerry appearance and ASK Foundation night
Sunday, April 27th - Superhero Day and Kroger Squirrels Tail Kids Club Nutzy superhero cape giveaway presented by Call Federal Credit Union (first 2,000 fans ages 14 & under).
Monday, April 28th - Ineptitude Summit, Dumb and Dumber Tribute and McDonald's Monday
Tuesday, April 29th - Education Day (10:35 AM start time)
Wednesday, April 30 - Salute to Construction, Wednesday Happy Hour & Fireworks presented by Floor & Décor
Thursday, May 1 - Green Eggs & Baseball and Fireworks presented by Your Local Ford Dealers
Single-game tickets to the celebratory 5th season of Flying Squirrels Season are available online at SquirrelsBaseball.com . The Squirrels are currently on the road in Altoona and return to The Diamond for a seven game home stand beginning Friday April 25th.
