Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators held off the Reading Fightin Phils Saturday night 7-6 at FNB Field. Harrisburg had leads of 4-0 and 7-1 before Reading rallied and eventually put the tying run at third with no outs in the eighth and at second with no outs in the ninth. The win for Harrisburg snapped their three-game losing streak. Michael Cuevas bounced back from a rough outing Sunday in Richmond to earn the win over Reading.
The Big Play
The Senators had already plated two two-out runs in the first inning when Terone Harris III launched a two-run home run capping the four-run first inning for Harrisburg.
On Capitol Hill
Michael Cuevas started and earned the win, going five innings and allowing four runs on six hits. He struck out four and walked two in facing 23 batters... Patrick Ruotolo pitched two scoreless innings and earned his second hold... Nash Walters faced two batters, walked both, and left the game... Tyler Schoff earned his fourth hold tossing a scoreless inning... Joel Peguero allowed a lead off double in the ninth, but retired the final three batters for his tenth save with Harrisburg.

James Wood had three hits including a two-run home run and a double... Terone Harris III drove in three with a home run and a single... Donovan Casey and JT Arruda both doubled in runs for Harrisburg.

Earlier in the evening, Jacob Young entered the Nationals game as a pinch-runner and became the 298th former Harrisburg Senator player to reach the big leagues that had not previously played in the big leagues... time of the game was 2:20... The attendance was 6,230.
