Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans' Sr. Vice President of Business Operations Brian Sandy announced today that the team will kick-off their 21st season of hockey in the Mid-Columbia by having players personally deliver season tickets to 11 lucky fans.
On Tuesday, September 16, as a way to show their appreciation for the tremendous fan support the team receives, Tri-City Americans players will be sent all over the Mid-Columbia to hand-deliver season tickets to their biggest fans. The season ticket holders, who were selected at random, will then receive a personal visit from a pair of players at their home. The selected fans will be notified prior to the player's visit.
"If there was a way we could personally visit every one of our fans door-to-door, we would. Hopefully, those that were selected enjoy the experience," Sandy stated. "As an organization, it is important that we never look past the support we get from our community and season ticket holders."
The Americans will officially start their defense of their 2007-08 U.S. Division Championship on Saturday, September 20 against the Kelowna Rockets at the Toyota Center. Game time is 7:05 PM. Fans wanting to purchase tickets can visit the Toyota Center box office, any Ticketmaster outlet, including all Fred Meyer locations, or log on to www.ticketmaster.com.
