
Second Round Playoff Schedule Announced

Portland Winterhawks News Release
The Portland Winterhawks will take on the Spokane Chiefs in the second round of the Western Hockey League playoffs, and the schedule is as follows (home games in bold):
Game 1: Friday, April 5 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 7 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday, April 6 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.
Game 3: Tuesday, April 9 at Spokane, 7:05 p.m.
Game 4: Wednesday, April 10 at Spokane, 7:05 p.m.
Game 5*: Saturday, April 13 at the Rose Garden, 7 p.m.
Game 6*: Monday, April 15 at Spokane, 7:05 p.m.
Game 7*: Wednesday, April 17 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 7 p.m.

It's the third time in four seasons the Winterhawks and Chiefs will meet in the playoffs. In 2011 the two teams met in the Western Conference Final, with Portland winning in six games to advance to the WHL championship series. In the first round of the 2010 playoffs, Ty Rattie scored the series winner in overtime of Game 7 as the Hawks advanced to the second round.
