SeaWolves Add Veteran Midfielder Corey Adamson on Loan

Orlando, FL - The Orlando SeaWolves have announced that veteran St. Louis Ambush midfielder Corey Adamson will be joining the team on loan for the remainder of the season. Adamson will serve both as a player and assistant coach under Head Coach Tom Traxler. Per league and team policies, no additional details were disclosed.

Adamson joined been with the Ambush since the team's inception, scoring the first goal in franchise history. Through his time in MASL, he has suited up for the Milwaukee Wave and the Cedar Rapids Rampage. He has been back with St. Louis since the 2016 season.

Originally born and raised in Clearwater, Florida, Adamson played some of his youth soccer with the Clearwater Chargers, a team that SeaWolves Head Coach Tom Traxler coached.

"I'm very pleased that we are adding Corey to our organization as a player and assistant coach," Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "He completes our staff along with Maycon Franca. Additionally, as a player he adds experience in this league to our team, he is a fiery competitor and I love that about him. I've known Corey since he was a very young player and worked with him when I was coaching with the Clearwater Chargers. I knew then that he was a special player and glad I can work with him again."
