KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds have announced that another T-Bird is heading to an NHL Training Camp this year.
Goaltender Thomas Milic will be attending the Seattle Kraken Camp as a free agent.
"As an organization, we are really happy for Thomas as this is well-deserved recognition," says general manager Bil La Forge. "I am confident he will do very well in his time with the Kraken."
Milic joins six other T-Birds heading to NHL Camps this season. Henrik Rybinski is attending the Edmonton Oilers camp, Matthew Rempe is attending the New York Rangers camp, Tyrel Bauer is attending the Winnipeg Jets camp, Conner Roulette will be attending the Dallas Stars camp, Lucas Ciona will be attending the Calgary Flames camp and Jeremy Hanzel will be attending the Tampa Bay Lightning camp.
The T-Birds start the 2021-22 Western Hockey League regular season against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, October 2, at 6:00pm at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The Home Opener is Saturday, October 9, against the Winterhawks at 6:05pm at accesso ShoWare Center.
T-Birds season tickets for the 2021-22 regular season are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
