Pats Announce New Business Hires

Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats Hockey Club has been busy this off-season gearing up for their home opener October 2nd against the Prince Albert Raiders. It has been nearly 18 months since the Regiment has had fans in the Brandt Centre.

In order to enhance the fan experience for the upcoming 2021-22 WHL season, the club is excited to announce multiple new hires to their business staff.

Dante De Caria will serve as the Pats new Manager, Broadcast and Hockey Communications. He will call all Pats home and away games on 620 CKRM and be responsible for all internal and external communications for the club. De Caria brings with him five years of experience behind the mic at the Junior A level, one with the British Columbia Hockey League's Powell River Kings and four years with the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the Central Canadian Hockey League. He also brings experience working in baseball, working in communications with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2017 and as a Broadcaster and Communications Assistant for their Class-A affiliate, the Lansing Lugnuts.

Nathan Kanter will join the Pats as the Manager, Digital Media, Fan and Community Engagement. He will be responsible for generating content across all Pats digital platforms, connecting with Pats fans and facilitating team community appearances. Kanter spent the past two seasons as the broadcaster and communications coordinator for the BCHL's Salmon Arm Silverbacks and prior to that spent two years as the broadcaster for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League's Battlefords North Stars.

Gavin De Souza will be the Pats Manager of Game Day Experience. He will lead the game night operations department of the club and ensure Pats fans have an in-arena experience like never before. De Souza brings a diverse resume to the table, having worked in several different sports during the past eight years, including for the Oshawa Generals, Brampton Beast and GTHL.

Amy Kerr will be the Pats new Assistant, Business Operations. She will have a multi-faceted role with the club and be responsible for reception, general office duties and organizational assistance across all areas of business. She brings a wealth of experience to the team, with 15+ years of administrative experience, including Executive Coordinator with the Government of Saskatchewan and Administrative Assistant, Football Operations with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
