Seattle Storm Request Waivers On Stacy Clinesmith And Danielle McCulley

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today requested waivers on 5-5 guard Stacy Clinesmith and 6-3 center/forward Danielle McCulley, Storm Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Anne Donovan announced.

McCulley appeared in 11 games during two seasons with the Storm. Clinesmith was a free agent invitee to Storm training camp.

The Storm roster now stands at 16 players. Centers Kamila Vodichkova and Simone Edwards have not yet arrived in training camp.

The Storm will play their first preseason game against the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday, May 8 at AmericaWest Arena in Phoenix at 7 p.m. Seattle will play one home preseason game on Sunday, May 16 at 6 p.m. against the Phoenix Mercury at KeyArena.

Seattle will open the 2004 WNBA season against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday, May 20 at KeyArena.

The Seattle Sonics & Storm manages the Puget Sound region's professional basketball franchises – the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics and the WNBA's Seattle Storm. The organization oversees all sales, marketing, finance, public relations and basketball operations for the teams. The Basketball Club of Seattle LLC owns both teams.
