
Seattle Reign FC Forward Megan Rapinoe Named to USWNT Roster

Roster for Friendlies
SEATTLE - U.S. women's national team head coach Jill Ellis announced today the roster for the team's upcoming friendlies against Korea Republic. Seattle Reign FC forward Megan Rapinoe is among the 22 players selected.
Rapinoe returns to the roster after being called in for the team's September friendlies against New Zealand. During the 2017 NWSL season, the Reign FC forward appeared in a career high 18 matches, starting 18. Rapinoe finished third in the NWSL in goals scored with 12, and tallied one assist.
The national team's
first match against Korea Republic is on October 19th at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00pm PT and the match can be seen on FS1.
The team's second
match against South Korea will take place in Cary, North Carolina and can be seen on ESPN. The match will be held on October 22nd at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park with kickoff set for 11:00am PT.
