Seattle Reign FC Midfielder Rumi Utsugi Called Up for
Japan Friendly
SEATTLE - Japan women's national team head coach Asako Takakura has announced the roster for the team's upcoming friendly against Switzerland. Seattle Reign FC midfielder Rumi Utsugi is among the 23 players selected. Utsugi returns to the roster after being called in for the Tournament of Nations at the end of July. The midfielder featured in all three matches for Japan. During the 2017 NWSL season, Utsugi featured in 20 matches, starting 18, and tallied one goal and two assists. Japan's match is set for Sunday, October 22nd at 12:30am PT at Minami Nagano Sports Park Football Stadium in Nagano, Japan.
