Seattle Thunderbirds News Release

KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds have added forward Brad Lambert to the active roster.

"We are extremely excited to add Brad to our team," said General Manager, Bil La Forge. "He has game breaking speed and offensive abilities that will complement the current roster very well. We look forward to getting him in a Thunderbirds jersey soon."

Lambert recently competed for Finland at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Halifax and Moncton. Seattle acquired Lambert's WHL playing rights on June 30, 2022 from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2023 WHL Draft, a sixth-round pick in the 2023 WHL Draft, a conditional first-round pick in the 2023 WHL Draft, and a conditional second-round pick in the 2024 WHL Draft. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets 30th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft last July.

The Thunderbirds are on the road for the Eastern Swing which began in Regina on January 6 and ends in Saskatoon on January 14. The next home game for Seattle is Friday, January 20 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Tickets are available online at seattlethunderbirds.com.
