Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
Brandon, MB. - The Brandon Wheat Kings are pleased to announce that over two thousand Season Tickets have been sold for the 2011-12 Western Hockey League season.
The WHL club announced Wednesday morning that a total of 2,013 season tickets were sold before Tuesday afternoon's Early Bird Discount Deadline.
The Wheat Kings, who finished the 2010-11 campaign by going 18-6-1 to finish in sixth place in the WHL's Eastern Conference, sold just over 3,100 Season Tickets this past season. Brandon averaged 4,300 fans during the regular season.
All fans that have purchased their 2011-12 season tickets will now have the opportunity to take advantage of "Seat Moving Day", which is scheduled for Thursday, June 16th. Beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow, season ticket holders may move their seats to a more desirable location as all tickets having not been renewed by Tuesday's deadline will be available to the general public.
Now that the Early Bird Deadline has come and gone,
2011-12 Season Ticket prices are as follows:
$350 plus GST Adults
$175 plus GST Youth (17 and under)
$350 equates to a single game ticket price of just over $10 a game, which is still easily the most affordable ticket price in the WHL. Season tickets are also exempt from Ticketmaster agency fees of $3 per ticket.
To purchase 2011-12 Season Tickets or for more information fans can call 726-3535 or go online at www.wheatkings.com.
