NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Despite a spectacular 32-save performance by Ryan Munce, including several improbable saves in the second period, the South Carolina Stingrays defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves 3-0 behind two goals from Travis Morin and a 29-save performance by James Reimer, who recorded his second consecutive shutout.

South Carolina took the lead at 9:07 of the first period when Morin found a loose puck in the low slot and shot it over Munce, who had been felled in the crease by furious action in front of the net seconds earlier.

Mick Berge, playing in his first professional game, gave the Stingrays a 2-0 lead at 11:18 of the second when his sharp-angle shot hit Munce's glove, went high in the air and landed in the net.

Mississippi pulled Munce in favor of an extra attacker late in the third period, but a turnover just inside the offensive zone resulted in Travis Morin backhanding the puck into the empty net for his second goal of the night at 19:03 of the third period.

Ryan Munce made 32 saves to earn a loss, and the Sea Wolves were 0-for-3 on the power play.

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - After falling behind 2-0, the Mississippi Sea Wolves battled back to even the game at two-apiece on a pair of second period goals, before falling 3-2 in overtime to the South Carolina Stingrays.

South Carolina's Keith Johnson potted his first of the game, breaking down the ice alone after picking off a loose puck in the neutral zone past getting enough on his shot to trickle it past Sea Wolves goalie Ryan Munce for a shorthand goal at 15:10 of the first period.

Johnson potted his second of the night with the Stingrays on the power play at 4:33 of the second, when Ryan Munce deflected Josh Godfrey's point shot up into the air and Johnson tapped it in when it landed on the goal line behind Munce.

Alex Parent's 18th goal of the season got the Sea Wolves on the board when Ryan Cruthers fed a centering pass to Parent, who rifled a shot from the top of the slot past South Carolina netminder James Reimer at 15:25.

At 18:35, Ryan Menei fed a pass to Chris Zarb at the bottom of the right circle, and Zarb fired it through Reimer's five hole to tie the game at two-apiece.

After failing to convert on a power play early in overtime, South Carolina's Mick Berge snuck down to the low slot and buried a goal-mouth feed from Pierre-Luc O'Brien at 3:15 of overtime to give the Stingrays a 3-2 win.

Ryan Munce made 32 saves to earn a loss, and the Sea Wolves were 0-for- 5 on the power play.

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Mark Rooneem scored a pair of goals, but the South Carolina Stingrays controlled the tempo of the third game of the three-in-three series as they defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves 4-2 at the North Charleston Coliseum on Sunday.

Spencer Carbery got South Carolina on the board just 3:54 into the first period when he tapped home a back-door pass from Nikita Kashirsky on a two-on-one rush.
