SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs Head Coach/General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced today that the team has recalled 18-year old right winger Nicolas Pard from the Joliette Action of the Quebec Junior AAA Hockey League, a faction of the Canadian Junior 'A' Hockey League.

Originally selected by Saint John in the fourth round (67th overall) of the 2006 QMJHL Entry Draft, Pard appeared in two games for the Sea Dogs during the 06-07 campaign. This season with the Action, the 5'11", 152 lb. forward has tallied 27G-25A-52P in only 30 games played, ranking him fifth in the league in goals and fifteenth in overall scoring. A native of St-Bruno, QC, Pard recorded 18G-17A-35P in 40GP for Joliette in 2007-08, helping the Action finish first in the QJAAAHL.

Saint John (21-17-2-2) travels to eastern New Brunswick later today to face the Wildcats (29-3-2-3) at 7pm in an intra-divisional contest at the Moncton Coliseum.

The Sea Dogs' next home game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, January 10 at 7pm versus the defending QMJHL Champion Gatineau Olympiques. Tickets to this match can be obtained by calling the Harbour Station Box Office at (506) 657-1234.
