Juniors Shutout Drummondville

Montreal, January 2nd 2008 - Jake Allen and the Montreal Juniors scored four goals and shutout the Drummondville Voltigeurs, on Friday night at the Verdun Auditorium.

Montreal's Pat O'Keefe, captain Matt Fillier, Chris Thorn and Luke Adam each scored a goal in front of a lively crowd while goalie Jake Allen stopped 38 shots. The team now holds a record of 21-17-1-0 to start the new year.

With his assists tonight, 20 year old Nick Layton leads the team with 48 points, including 16 goals in 39 games. Luke Adam continues to lead his team in goals with 17 on the year.

The Juniors will play again on Sunday at the Verdun Auditorium when they welcome the Drakkar de Baie-Comeau. They will continue their homestand on Saturday the 10th of January and Sunday the 11th, at 4pm and 4:30pm respectively.
