
Stransky suspended four games

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, January 2, 2009 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Disciplinary Prefect today announced that forward Jan Stransky of the Halifax Mooseheads has been suspended four games for cross-checking an opponent during last Tuesday's game versus the P.E.I. Rocket.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and after consulting all concerned parties.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the Disciplinary Prefect will not be available for further comment.
