Sea Dogs Playoff Race Update

Portland Sea Dogs News Release
The Sea Dogs are currently three games ahead of the Binghamton Mets for the final playoff spot in the Eastern League's Northern Division with six games left to play. Portland's magic number to clinch the final playoff spot is four.
The Trenton Thunder (Yankees) have already clinched first place in the Northern Division.
Should the Sea Dogs advance to post-season play, the Sea Dogs would host Games 3 & 4 (if necessary) of the Eastern League Northern Division Championship at Hadlock Field on Friday, September 5th and Saturday, September 6th. Games 1, 2, & 5 (if necessary) would be played in Trenton, New Jersey.
