NEWS AND NOTES

PENNSYLVANIA 6-5000 : Tonight the Sea Dogs open up the second leg of their Pennsylvania road trip with a three-game series vs. the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals' affiliate) - their last series with a Western Division team in 2015. The two teams last met from July 30 - August 2 at Hadlock Field, when Portland won the series opener before the Senators ran off three straight wins to take the series 3-1.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT : The Altoona Curve staved off a sweep and took the finale of the three-game series, 7-2. The Curve sent 10 men to the plate in the second inning and scored six runs off of Danny Rosenbaum to set the tone early on. Manuel Margot finished the game with three hits and a run scored, Tzu-Wei Lin went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a walk. Portland still won the season series with the Curve, 4-2.
