SEEKING THE SERIES WIN: The Portland Sea Dogs and Altoona Curve (Pirates affiliate) play the rubber game of their three-game set on Sunday afternoon at Hadlock Field...With a win today, the 'Dogs will take the first two series of an eight-game homestand...Portland has won seven of their last 10 games, and 27-25 in the second half...Lefty Kyle Hart makes his 22nd start of the season and his first against Altoona.

KENT WAS SUPERMAN ON SATURDAY: Matt Kent (9-8) tossed 6.2 scoreless frames on just two hits, as the Sea Dogs beat the Curve 3-0 on Saturday night...Kent worked 5.1 hitless innings before Alfredo Reyes singled on an eephus pitch...Bobby Dalbec finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and two doubles...Danny Mars knocked in the first run with an RBI single and Jordan Betts nailed a run-scoring double...Josh Taylor worked around two singles in the ninth to earn his sixth save of the season.
