LAST GAME RECAP: The Rumble Ponies won their fourth straight game on Sunday at NYSEG Stadium, completing a three-game sweep of Reading. Binghamton's 5-2 win came courtesy of a five-run bottom of the eighth inning, sending them to their fourth straight win.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: LHP Matt Gage makes his third Rumble Ponies start since being signed by the Mets on August 4. The New York native has allowed four earned runs across 11.2 innings, with seven strikeouts and two walks. He last faced Altoona on May 2, 2017 as a member of Richmond.

THE CHOSEN ONE: The Rumble Ponies five-run eighth inning marks the fourth straight game in which Binghamton has scored at least three runs in an inning. (August 16: 5th (5 runs), August 17, 7th (3 runs), August 18, 1st (4 runs)).

SHOW PONIES: Binghamton has rattled off four straight wins for the first time since a five-game winning streak May 11-15.

SPREAD ATTACK: Binghamton received five hits from five different players in Sunday's victory.

POWER SURGE: The Rumble Ponies have homered in four straight games for the first time since a season-best 12-game homer streak May 12-23. Reading also utilized the long ball in each of the three games in the series.

GAME OF FIRSTS: Matt Blackham picked up his first Double-A win Sunday by tossing a scoreless eighth inning. David Roseboom garnered his first save of the 2018 season - he threw a scoreless ninth inning.

JUST IN TIME: The Rumble Ponies comeback win is their fifth when trailing after seven innings.

CLOSE CALLS: 19 of the last 20 Rumble Ponies games have been decided by five or fewer runs. Eight of those contests finished with a one-run margin.

FIELDING FOLLY: Joey Terdoslavich's throwing-error on Sunday ended the Rumble Ponies errorless streak at five games. Binghamton has made two errors over the last 11 games.

ARMS DEALING: Rumble Ponies starters have pitched at least five innings in 14 consecutive starts.

CLASHING WITH THE CURVE: Binghamton has one win in seven tries against Altoona this season. The Curve swept the Ponies at NYSEG Stadium June 12-14, before taking three of four in Altoona July 26-29.
