
Screaming Eagles select Adam Veliky in Import Draft

Sydney - With the 7th overall pick in today's 2012 CHL Import Draft, the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have selected 17 year-old Slovakian forward Adam Veliky.
General Manager Pierre Roux describes Veliky as a big, scoring forward with good hands. Last season the 6'3" 180 lb. forward recorded 21 goals and 27 assists for 48 points in 34 games with Dukla Trencin. Veliky doesn't turn 18 until November 12, making him eligible for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
