Cats Pick Dmitrij Jaskin 22nd Overall

Moncton Wildcats News Release

The Wildcats chose with their 22nd overall pick, Right Winger Dmitrij Jaskin. Dmitri is 6'3" and 198 pounds. Dmitrij played in Czech for HC Slavia Praha. Dmitri was born in Omsk, Russia and had a dual nationality between Czech and Russia.

"Big Strong power forward who spent the last two years playing the Czech professional league." Said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Danny Flynn. "He was a first line guy on their world junior team last year. We feel confident that he can come in and immediately help our team."

Dmitrij was born on March 23rd, 1993 and drafted in the second round 41st overall to the Saint Louis Blues.
