
Scrappers Drop Game Two to Crosscutters, 5-3

Niles, OH - The Mahoning Valley Scrappers lost game two of a two-game series to the Williamsport Crosscutters tonight at Eastwood Field.
Gregorio Rosario got the loss for the Scrappers coming in from the bullpen, pitching 1.2 innings and giving up two runs on four hits.
In his first outing in the New York-Penn League, Ervis Manzanillo picked up his first win for the Crosscutters pitching six innings, giving up three runs on four hits and striking out four. Eric Pettis recorded the save for Williamsport.
Despite getting a no decision, Mike Rayl pitched well for the Scrappers working five innings, giving up two runs on four hits and striking out four.
The Scrappers will head to Batavia to take on the Muckdogs in the first of a two-game series tomorrow night. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
