Fans will get a chance to meet the local football hero and witness his skills showcased during a second intermission segment featuring celebrity "holders" Marc Katz of the Dayton Daily News and Ryan Brant of FOX-45/NBC-22 Sports.

Nugent, who scored 120 points and set seven school records in 2002 en route to an All-American season, will be back for his junior year and to help Ohio State defend its NCAA National Championship. A native of Centerville, Ohio, Nugent was a Second-Team Division I Associated Press All-Ohio selection while playing for Centerville High School. He also was a First-Team Western Ohio League and All-Southwest Ohio selection.

Nugent's appearance will highlight a day's worth of special activities. Before the game, the Dayton Jr. A Gems, who feature several local players, will be competing against the Toledo IceDiggers Jr. A Team in a game that will begin at 2:30 p.m. The Bombers, who are accepting deposits for 2003-2004 season tickets, will be giving away a Team Poster at the game in addition to having a full team autograph session after the contest. Following that home tilt, the Bombers will host Trenton on Tuesday, March 18 (6:15 p.m.) in a game originally scheduled for Friday, March 14, but moved due to a Nutter Center concert. Kids 12 and under can get in for free at that game. The Bombers will be honoring March 14 tickets as well.
