(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the East Coast Hockey League today announced that goaltender, Brian Finley, has been re-assigned by the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League to the Storm. In other transactions completed today, right wing, Darryl Bootland, was re-called by the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL and re-assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL; defensemen, Brandon Fleenor and Nathan Lutz, were loaned to the Cleveland Barons of the AHL; center, Dale Junkin, was activated from the injured reserve; and right wing, Kris Waltze, was placed on the seven-day injured reserve.

Finley, 6'3/205 (21), began this season with the Storm and appeared in six games, compiling a record of 4-2-0 with a 2.33 goals against average and a 92.1% save percentage prior to being re-called by Nashville and re-assigned to Milwaukee in early December. Finley went 7-11-2 (2.93, .898) in 22 games with the Admirals and recorded his first pro shutout on January 17 against the Houston Aeros.
