Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that relief pitcher Chris Schroder has been sent to the Expos triple-A team in Edmonton. Schroder will take the roster spot of Roy Corcoran who has been placed on the disabled list.
Schroder appeared in nine games with the Senators this season and compliled a 1-0 record with 3 saves. He worked 10.1 innings, allowing 8 hits, 3 runs, 4 walks and 10 strikeouts.
With the move the Senators roster stands at 22 active players. That is one below the number currently allowed by the Eastern League.
Pedro Liriano is still away from the team to be at the birth of his child. It is unknown at this time when Liriano will return to the team.
Harrisburg is in Reading Tuesday to play the first of a three-game series. The team returns to Harrisburg on Friday, May 14th to take on the Norwich Navigators.
