The Baysox will be on the road all week traveling to Akron for a three game series with the Aeros (Cleveland Indians) and a three game series with the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees). They will return to Prince George's Stadium on Monday, May 17 to take on the Akron Aeros.

THURSDAY, MAY 13 -- 3rd ANNUAL CENTRAL MARYLAND CAREER FAIR

The Bowie Baysox Baseball Club, Class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, in cooperation with the Prince George's County Economic Workforce Corporation will host the 3rd annual Central Maryland Career Fair this Thursday, May 13th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm at Prince George's Stadium, home of the Bowie Baysox, in Bowie, MD.

This 3rd Annual event will feature over 40 different recruiters for employment covering the fields of: Finance, Education, Retail, Military, Computer, Banking, Pharmaceutical, Restaurant, Government and more. A complete listing of companies attending can be found on the Bowie Baysox Official Website at: www.baysox.com .

The Career Fair will take place on the main concourse level of Prince George's Stadium. Admission and parking for this event is Free.

There will also be seminars conducted by the Prince George's County Economic Workforce Corporation to assist those looking for jobs in resume writing, interviewing techniques and more.

FRIDAY 5/15, SATURDAY 5/16 -- BOWIE BAYSOX DRIVE-IN

After a successful opening weekend the Bowie Baysox Baseball Club along with American Family Entertainment, will be back this weekend with more in store for area movie-goes.

This weekend the Bowie Baysox Drive-In will feature the 2003 re-make of the classic Peter Pan, starring Jeremy Sumpter as Peter Pan and the 1996 hit Twister starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

Admission to the "Bowie Baysox Drive-In Theatre" will be $15 per car, with the amount of people permitted in each car being equal to the number of seat belts. Showtime will always be at dusk, beginning with two cartoons and followed by a double feature. There will be a 20-minute intermission between the two features.

For the first time this season food and drink will be available for the drive-in. Prices on food and drink will mirror those at any Baysox home game.

Monday 5/17 -- St. Patrick's Day in May

The official St. Patrick's Day may have been in March, but it is never too late to celebrate your Irish heritage (or at least pretend to celebrate your Irish Heritage). Join Louie and his Lucky Leprechaun for a night full of Irish fun.

Tuesday 5/18 -- Baysox Bargain Night: Box Seat Blowout! - sponsored by The Bowie Blade-News

Every Tuesday in 2004 is Baysox Bargain Night. This Tuesday is Box Seat Blowout, sponsored by The Bowie Blade-News, where fans pay JUST $5 for All Box Seats.

Wednesday 5/19 -- Dog Days of Summer

For one night this season dogs and other pets are allowed in the ball park for our Dog Days of Summer promotion. Many pet related vendors will be in attendance with information and giveaways.

Thursday 5/20 -- Baseball in Education Day -- Elementary Schools - sponsored by Comcast

The Bowie Baysox will welcome secondary school students from the area to the ballpark on Wednesday for an 11:05 a.m. game. The Baysox second "Baseball in Education" day of the season will feature special promotions and activities with an educational theme. Sponsored by Comcast.

Ticket Availability

Kids 12-and-under wearing their little league uniforms are admitted to Prince George's Stadium free of charge every Sunday - Thursday. General admission seats for kids 12 and under, senior citizens, and active military personnel are $6. Adults can purchase general admission seats for $9. Reserved box seats are $12 and field box seats are $14. Children 5 and under are always admitted free.
