Rome, GA- The Rome Braves announce the right-handed pitcher Zach Schreiber has been sent to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans of the Carolina League affective today. While in Rome Schreiber was 1-1 with a 2.76 ERA in 14 appearances. Opponents were hitting .203 against him.
The Rome Braves continue their series against Augusta tonight at seven. It's two for one beverage night with a live band playing in the Budweiser Beach Club immediately following the game. Friday night "floppy hats" will be given to the first one thousand fans with paid admission presented by Cowboys Food Mart, Superior Transport, and Q102 Radio. Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville presents Western Night Saturday evening against the Asheville Tourists with first pitch at 7pm.
