The Savannah Sand Gnats came from behind to get their third straight win over the Lexington Legends, 5-4 Monday night in Savannah.

The Legends scored two runs in the first inning. Delino DeShields Jr. led off with a double, and Jay Austin singled him to third. Savannah starter Gonzalez Germain struck out Telvin Nash and Ben Heath, but Mike Kvasnicka doubled to right center field, scoring DeShields and Austin.

Kvasnicka singled home another run in the third. Savannah scored twice in their half of the third to cut the lead to one, but Heath answered with a solo homer in the top of the fifth to give the Legends a 4-2 advantage.

The Sand Gnats took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the sixth, two coming home on a single by Albert Cordero, who now has nine RBI in the first three games of the series. The third run scored when Kvasnicka committed a throwing error after fielding a grounder hit by Joe Bonfe, allowing Cordero to score from second base.
