Saturday's Game Postponed Due to Rain

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release


South Bend, IN - Saturday's scheduled game between the South Bend Silver Hawks and Dayton Dragons at Coveleski Stadium has been postponed due to rain in the South Bend area. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.

The gates will open for Sunday's game at 12:00 PM Eastern Time and fans will be invited down on the field for a pregame catch upon entering the stadium. The South Bend Tribune's postgame autograph session as well as the standard Sunday kids running the bases will take place after game two of the doubleheader.

Saturday's Martin's Supermarkets Produce Race Poster giveaway will take place on Sunday for the first 1,000 fans. Saturday's appearance by the ZOOperstars! will be rescheduled for a later date. More information will be posted on www.silverhawks.com when it becomes available.

Both games will be seven innings in length, per Midwest League rules. Starting pitchers for tomorrow's doubleheader are still to be announced.
