The Spokane Chiefs home opener on Saturday, September 26th versus the Tri-City Americans will be televised live on SWX. It will be the first of six Chiefs games televised this year on the local sports and weather station. The remainder of the Chiefs television broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
KHQ's Sam Adams and former Chiefs captain Kevin Sawyer will have the call beginning at 7:00. Tickets remain for Bud Light Opening Night by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT. The first 2,000 fans through the gates, and all full season ticket holders in attendance, will receive a collector's edition silver puck presented by The Black Book by Hagadone Directories.
The Chiefs will begin a season long celebration of their 25th Anniversary on Saturday night by welcoming back a handful of former players in a special pre-game ceremony.

The Spokane Chiefs broadcast games will continue to be available via Comcast On Demand to all digital cable customers at no charge. To view the games, click on "Get Local" in the On Demand menu.
