
Blazers to raise money for breast cancer

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting "Pink Powerplay Night" on Friday, October 2nd, 2009 when the Vancouver Giants visit the Interior Savings Centre.
To commemorate the evening, the Blazers will be wearing a specially designed Pink RBK EDGE jersey. The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the month of October with all the proceeds used to raise money for breast cancer.
Fans will have the opportunity to bid on these pink jerseys at all of the Blazer home games. Also, fans can go to blazerhockey.com and view the news rotator where they can check what the current bids for all the jerseys are.
The Blazers Corner Store will also be selling specially made pink Blazer merchandise starting this Friday, September 25th when the Blazers play host to the Kelowna Rockets.
Please come out and support "Pink Powerplay Night" and watch the Blazers battle their divisional rival Vancouver Giants for the first time this season!
