The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today running back Kenton Keith has re-joined the team. Keith signed a contract with the NFL's New York Jets in the off-season, but was released last week.
Last season, Keith electrified Rider fans by rushing for 709 yards in only 10 regular season games. The 23-year old averaged 7.0 yards per rush in the regular season and picked up CFL Offensive Player-of-the-Week honours against Calgary.
The 23-year old New Mexico State product was named Player-of-the-Week again after his dominating performance in the Western Semi-Final against Winnipeg when he rushed for 140 yards and three touchdowns.

COLLEGE: Spent four seasons at New Mexico State...appeared in 39 games for the Aggies...led team in senior year with 183 carries for 839 yards and 13 touchdowns...also had 118 yards receiving...set a New Mexico State single-season record for yards per rush at 7.8 in his junior season...racked up 2,134 yards in four seasons at NM State...cousins with former NFL great Roger Craig.
