Santa Cruz Warriors Takes Victory against Oklahoma City Blue

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors (2-2) beat the Oklahoma City Blue (2-1), 115-107, on Thursday night in the second of back-to-back games.

The two teams were neck and neck throughout the first quarter finishing 20-24 as the Blue took the lead. The game stayed competitive in the second quarter, but the Warriors trailed 48-51 to finish out the first half. Forward Patrick Baldwin Jr. led with 11 points for Santa Cruz and guard Jahmi'us Ramsey led with 16 points for Oklahoma City in the first half.

The Sea Dubs fought back going into the second half, with guard Ryan Rollins scoring the first basket of the third quarter. Guard Lester Quinones tied up the game 74-74 on a fast-break with less than one minute remaining in the third quarter. The Sea Dubs finished out the third with 28 points trailing Oklahoma City, 76-77.

The Warriors came back with a strong offensive performance in the fourth posting 39 points to lead the team to victory. Rollins led the team scoring twelve points during the fourth quarter while shooting 66.7% from the field. The Warriors hustled a total of 52 rebounds, with four players owning at least seven rebounds each. Center Trevion Williams led with nine rebounds, and center Jayce Johnson and guard Pat Spencer tied with eight rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Rollins putting up game-high 27 points in the victory. Guard Jerome Robinson posted 18 points and five rebounds. Baldwin Jr. scored 16 points and seven rebounds. Quinones contributed 14 of the Warriors 38 bench points.

The Blue were led by guard Jahmi'us Ramsey with 28 points.
