RENO, Nev. - The Santa Cruz Warriors beat the Reno Bighorns 95-79 Sunday afternoon, sweeping the Bighorns in the first two games of their seven game road trip.

Stefhon Hannah, the 6'1" guard and reigning D-League Defensive Player of the Year, logged a game-high 25 points and 4 assists in 34 minutes played. Hannah was one of four Santa Cruz Warriors who scored in double figures.

Travis Leslie was another standout, with 17 points and 9 rebounds in 31 minutes played. Mickell Gladness had a game-high 13 boards, while Jeremy Tyler, on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, led the team with a +/- rating of +23 (meaning the Santa Cruz Warriors outscored the Reno Bighorns by 23 points when he was on the floor). The Santa Cruz Warriors outrebounded the Reno Bighorns 57-46.

Much like Friday night, the Santa Cruz Warriors were led by their stout defensive play. The Warriors blocked 11 shots and held the Bighorns to 29.4% shooting from the field. The Bighorns had three players in double figures - Tony Wroten, on assignment from the Memphis Grizzlies, Marcus Landry and Darnell Jackson.

After a tight first quarter, the Santa Cruz Warriors led for the remainder of the game. A 22-point lead in the third quarter was whittled down to as little as six with 10:02 left in the fourth, but the Santa Cruz Warriors ended the game on a 20-10 run, led by Stef Hannah with 12 points.

The Santa Cruz Warriors will be back in action tomorrow against the Bakersfield Jam at 7:00 p.m. Fans can listen to the game on the Santa Cruz Warriors flagship station, KION 1460AM/101.1FM, or catch a live stream of the game on the NBA D-League's YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/nbadleague.
