Bighorns Fall to Warriors at Home

RENO, NEV, Dec. 2, 2012 - The Reno Bighorns struggled from the field, shooting 29.4 percent, as they fell to the Warriors 95-79. Memphis Grizzlies' assignee Tony Wroten led the Bighorns with 21 points.

Warriors' guard Stefhon Hannah had the hot hand for Santa Cruz, scoring 25 points and going 7-9 from the three-point line. Mickell Gladness added five block for the Warriors.

Bighorns' center Darnell Jackson recorded the first double-double of the season for the team, with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Marcus Landry also put in a strong showing for the Bighorns, scoring 11 points and shooting 60 percent from the three-point line.

The Bighorns mounted a mini-comeback in the fourth quarter, cutting the Warriors lead to six points, however, Hannah's hot shooting stymied the rally. The Warriors again out-rebounded the Bighorns, 57-46.

The Bighorns return to action next Friday night, December 7 against the Bakersfield Jam. On Saturday, December 8, the Bighorns will be giving out holiday ornaments to the first 1500 fans in the door.
