Santa Cruz Warriors Acquire Forward Josh Nzeakor

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, have acquired forward Josh Nzeakor (ZEE-kor).

In eight NBA G League Showcase Cup games with the Texas Legends this season, Nzeakor averaged 6.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 22.5 minutes while shooting 67.7 percent from the field. The forward appeared in 42 games split between the Birmingham Squadron and Texas Legends last season and averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 19.9 minutes. Originally undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, Nzeakor previously played college basketball for Lamar University from 2015-2019.
