Birmingham Squadron News Release

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron's 147 points in tonight's win over the Grand Rapids Gold marked the most points the team has scored in a game since the franchise started its time in the Magic City.

Landers Nolley II led the Squadron (1-2) with a double-double off the bench with 31 points, a career-high, and 12 rebounds. Nolley was one of four Birmingham players to record a double-double, along with Jalen Crutcher (20 points, 10 assists), Trey Jemison (14 points, 11 rebounds) and Izaiah Brockington (10 points, 11 rebounds).

Jemison's double-double is the seventh of the season for the NBA G League's second-leading rebounder.

Malcolm Hill was second in scoring for the Squadron, tallying 26 points on the night.

Hunter Tyson's 34 points paced the Gold (2-1) on a night Grand Rapids never had a lead.

The Squadron and Gold complete the back-to-back with a contest tomorrow at 6 p.m. CT at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. The game can be seen on My68 in Birmingham or nationally on ESPN+.
