BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors dropped their second straight game to the Bakersfield Jam 119-107 on Tuesday evening.

Joe Alexander was explosive on offense, leading all scorers with 35 points on the night, and shooting 78.9% from the field. James Michael McAdoo added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots, while Sean Kilpatrick notched 15 points in 26 minutes. Elliot Williams and Mychel Thompson added 10 points apiece for a total of five Warriors scoring in double-digits. Carrick Felix sustained a left knee injury in the first quarter and did not return to the game.

Bakersfield was paced by Elijah Millsap, who scored 30 points and had a game-high 9 assists and 9 boards. In total, six different Jam players contributed in double figures, with Mac Koshwal recording 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Alexander's 17 first-half points bolstered the Warriors to a 61-54 lead heading into halftime. The teams would return to an aggressive Jam offense, as they outscored Santa Cruz 37-23 in the third quarter, powering to a 91-84 advantage over the Warriors at the start of the fourth quarter.

The final quarter saw the Jam sustain and open up their scoring, as they would never relinquish the lead for the rest of the night, owning as much as a 17-point advantage over the Warriors.

Santa Cruz kept the edge on field goal percentage (52-49%), blocked shots (8-3), and assists (29-24).

The Santa Cruz Warriors return home to Kaiser Permanente Arena on Friday to face the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
