Sanderson Named To Second Team All-Pro

CALGARY, AB - The National Lacrosse League announced today the All-Pro Teams for the 2009 season, naming Rigger's forward Josh Sanderson to the Second Team All-Pro.

Sanderson finished third in scoring (103 points), tied for first in assists with 74, setting a new league record shared with Dan Dawson for assists in a single season.

The First Team All-Pro lineup consists of forwards Dan Dawson, Colin Doyle and Casey Powell; transition player Brodie Merrill, defenceman Billy Dee Smith and goaltender Ken Montour.

The Second Team All-Pro lineup consists of Roughnecks' forward Josh Sanderson and forward John Tavares; transition players Jordan Hall and Mark Steenhuis, defenceman Mac Allen and goaltender Anthony Cosmo.

The 2009 Award announcements will conclude on Thursday with the announcement of the 2009 Most Valuable Player Award, presented by Reebok.
